Homeless Plan is a Winner

New York model cost-effective in getting people off streets

The Calgary Committee to End Homelessness is well on its way toward meeting its goal after implementing a housing-first model with a proven track record in the U.S.

In announcing Pathways to Housing Calgary last week, the committee said it would find permanent housing for initially 50 chronically homeless people -- those whose housing situation has been unstable for longer than a year.
