Cities Share Strategy for Helping Homeless

Des Moines leaders can reduce, if not eliminate, homelessness within 10 years using a strategy that has worked in cities across the country, officials said Tuesday.

Representatives from Knoxville, Tenn., St. Louis, New York City and Washington, D.C., shared their ideas at a summit on homelessness organized by Mayor Frank Cownie.
